The deep groove raceway and close ball conformity allow these bearings to carry radial loads plus light bidirectional axial loads, which is why they appear in shaft supports, pulley arrangements and final drive stages. SS 6000 series bearings are formed from high-quality 3Cr13 martensitic stainless steel. The material provides resistance to rust, moisture and weak chemical corrosion while maintaining hardness for bearing duty. Passivation treatment is supported, and passivated components are salt-spray tested to 96 hours.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the difference between ZZ and 2RS SS 6000 bearings?

ZZ is a metal shield on both sides; it keeps larger contamination out while allowing higher speed and lower torque. 2RS is an elastomer seal that provides better protection against moisture and fine contamination, so it is usually the right choice in washdown, outdoor and food-processing equipment.

Which precision grades are available for this series?

We supply P0, P6 and P5. P0 covers general industrial tolerance, P6 tightens bore, OD and runout control, and P5 is used where running accuracy, speed or vibration behavior matters. The grade affects grinding and inspection effort, so we quote it as a line item rather than assuming a default.
