Stainless Steel Deep Groove Ball Bearings from a Dedicated Bearing Factory
We are Ningbo Aosen Bearing Co., Ltd., a China-based Stainless Steel Deep Groove Ball Bearings manufacturer. Our SS series is produced in our own 8,000 square meter bearing plant in Ningbo, using 3Cr13 (AISI420) stainless steel and precision grinding processes. This range covers six metric series, from miniature thin-section bearings to medium-duty 6300 series, with open, ZZ shielded and 2RS sealed configurations.
These bearings are engineered for corrosion resistance, washdown resistance and quiet operation in applications where ordinary GCr15 steel bearings would corrode or fail prematurely. We supply OEM/ODM orders, support custom materials and configurations, and coordinate stable export deliveries to Europe, the United States, Japan, Southeast Asia and the Middle East.
Product Range and Series Positioning

Material, Design and Engineering Value
Our standard stainless steel deep groove ball bearings are made from 3Cr13 (AISI420) martensitic stainless steel. The chromium content forms a protective oxide layer that resists rust, moisture and weak chemical attack, while the hardened structure provides good load capacity and wear resistance for a stainless bearing.
Deep groove raceways are precision ground on both rings and matched with high-precision stainless steel balls. This configuration carries radial loads as well as light axial loads in both directions, and keeps friction, noise and vibration low enough for high-speed equipment.
- 3Cr13 (AISI420) — standard martensitic stainless grade for our SS series
- AISI 440 / 440C — higher hardness and wear resistance for precision applications
- AISI 304 / 316 — higher corrosion resistance for chemical, marine or pharmaceutical environments
- GCr15 — standard bearing steel when corrosion resistance is not required
Application Fit and Operating Environments
We build these bearings for equipment that is washed down, exposed to humidity, or in contact with food, pharmaceuticals, water and mildly corrosive process media. Sealed 2RS versions reduce lubrication frequency and maintenance cost in these conditions. Typical installations include:
- Food and beverage processing lines, including fillers, mixers and conveyors
- Pharmaceutical and biotech machinery such as filling lines, centrifuges and pumps
- Chemical processing equipment exposed to acids, alkalis and solvents
- Water treatment, desalination and circulation pumps
- Marine and offshore components in high-salinity air
- Precision electronics, small motors, automotive auxiliary systems, industrial machinery and outdoor micro-machinery
For applications that need extra protection, we can add passivation, PTFE/PFA-type coatings, or select a more corrosion-resistant stainless grade. Our engineering team uses the working point, speed, temperature and cleaning cycle to propose the right material and sealing configuration.
Quality Assurance and Testing
Production is supported by our in-house factory, which is equipped with specialized inspection and measurement equipment. During manufacturing we monitor critical dimensional parameters including inner and outer diameters and roundness, and we perform standardized factory inspections covering flatness and visual quality before shipment.
- Material selection and verification before processing
- Dimensional control on bore, outside diameter and width
- Running accuracy checks on rotation, noise and vibration
- Passivation treatment with salt spray testing up to 96 hours on standard series
- Final inspection and packaging according to export specifications
Configuration Options and Customization
Our stainless steel range is available with metal shields (ZZ), contact seals (2RS) or open raceways. We also offer precision grades P0, P6 and P5, different grease fills and lubricants, and special tolerance requirements for press-fit or slip-fit assemblies.
- Sealing: open, ZZ, 2RS, or non-standard seal materials
- Precision: P0, P6, P5 depending on the application
- Surface: passivation, special coatings, or alternative material grades
- Geometry: extended inner rings, grooved outer rings and non-standard widths based on customer drawings or samples
- OEM/ODM: bearing development from samples, drawings or application data
We keep full control from raw material sourcing to final delivery because the manufacturing is supported by our own plant, supplemented by partner factories for non-standard and high-precision models.
Production Capacity and Export Support
Our deep groove ball bearing factory focuses on large-scale production with an annual output of 13–15 million sets. This capacity allows us to support high-volume orders, scheduled replenishment and mixed model shipments without depending on third-party stock.
Our product portfolio includes 40 mainstream models produced in-house and more than 230 models available through five qualified partner factories. As a stainless steel deep groove ball bearing supplier, we coordinate export logistics, packaging and documentation for global buyers while maintaining competitive pricing through direct factory supply.
Information We Use to Configure Your Solution
To prepare a precise proposal, we start with the operating point and the dimensional envelope of the bearing housing. Please provide the following information:
- Bearing series and model number, if known
- Bore, outside diameter and width in millimeters
- Seal or shield configuration (open, ZZ, 2RS, other)
- Material grade and surface treatment (3Cr13 standard, 440 series, 304/316, passivation, coating)
- Precision class and running accuracy requirement
- Speed, load, temperature and environmental conditions, especially humidity, washdown or chemical exposure
- Lubrication type and fill amount, if specified
- Estimated quantity, packaging and delivery target
With this information, we can confirm the correct series, sealing arrangement and material finish, and produce a quotation that matches the actual installation.
Frequently Asked Questions
What stainless steel grade do your standard deep groove ball bearings use?
Our standard SS series uses 3Cr13 (AISI420) martensitic stainless steel. For more demanding chemical or saline environments, we can supply AISI 440, 440C, 304 or 316 grades as part of a custom order.
Are SS 6000, 6200, 6800 and 6900 series available with ZZ or 2RS seals?
Yes. The stainless steel range is produced with open, metal-shielded (ZZ) and contact-sealed (2RS) configurations. The 2RS version is preferred for washdown applications where moisture or process liquid can reach the bearing.
Can you customize dimensions, tolerance or lubrication?
Yes. We support OEM/ODM customization, including special tolerances, non-standard widths, extended inner rings, grooved outer rings, alternative greases and different seal materials. Parts can be developed from customer drawings, samples or basic application data.
What salt spray resistance do you provide?
Our passivated stainless steel series achieves 96 hours in salt spray testing. Where service conditions are more aggressive, we recommend a higher grade stainless steel such as 316 or an additional protective coating, and we will confirm the expected performance with test samples.
Can you support large-volume export orders?
Our own factory has an annual output of 13–15 million sets, and we supplement with five partner factories for non-standard and high-precision models. We regularly export to Europe, the United States, Japan, Southeast Asia and the Middle East, and we coordinate stable supply and delivery from Ningbo.
