At Ningbo Aosen Bearing Co., Ltd., we are a Stainless Steel Ball Bearings manufacturer backed by our own production base, Ningbo Weijun Bearing Co., Ltd., established in 2016. With nearly a decade of deep groove ball bearing production experience and a factory covering more than 8,000 square meters, we supply corrosion-resistant bearing solutions to industrial machinery, automotive, motor, medical, food processing, marine and chemical equipment markets across Europe, the United States, Japan, Southeast Asia and the Middle East.
Our stainless steel ball bearing range covers miniature to medium deep groove series, angular contact, flange and bicycle headset bearings. We organize each product family around standard metric series, while our export team handles customized production, dual quality control, stable supply and efficient delivery from our Zhejiang, China facility.

Application Fit by Bearing Type
Stainless steel is specified when corrosion, washdown or moisture is part of the normal operating cycle. We match material and seal configuration to the actual exposure rather than applying one standard solution to every order.
- Food and beverage processing: repeated washdown and cleaning agents; AISI 420 stainless with 2RS seals and approved grease.
- Medical and pharmaceutical: low noise, stable operation in compact instruments, centrifuges and imaging equipment.
- Marine and offshore: high salinity and humidity; austenitic grades such as 304 and 316 provide the largest corrosion margin.
- Chemical processing: aggressive media and solvents; material selection driven by chemical compatibility and temperature.
- Motors and drive systems: high speed and vibration control; deep groove series with defined noise grades.
We also manufacture Angular Contact Ball Bearings for combined load positions and Flange Bearings for compact housing designs that avoid additional bore machining.
Materials, Sealing and Lubrication
The right stainless grade depends on the balance between corrosion resistance, hardness and the operating environment. For this reason we offer several material paths across the stainless steel ball bearing line.
- AISI 420: martensitic stainless with good hardness and moderate corrosion resistance, suitable for miniature and instrument bearings.
- AISI 440 / 440C: higher hardness and wear resistance for longer service life under load.
- AISI 304 / 316: austenitic stainless with superior corrosion resistance for marine, chemical and food contact applications.
- GCr15 chrome steel: used on our standard deep groove program when corrosion is not the driving requirement.
Sealing options are open type, ZZ metal shields and 2RS contact rubber seals. Grease type and fill quantity are adjusted according to operating temperature, speed and mounting orientation, so the same bearing series can be supplied with different lubrication specifications.
Critical Specifications and Performance Data
We publish dimension and load tables for each series so your engineers can check fit before requesting a quote. The main parameters we control are bore diameter, outer diameter, width, chamfer, basic dynamic and static load ratings, mass, radial internal clearance and tolerance class.
- Dimension series: metric standard with a bore range of approximately 3-50 mm across our deep groove program.
- Tolerance classes: P0, P6, P5 and P4, corresponding to ABEC 1, 3, 5 and 7.
- Vibration and noise levels: monitored to defined grades for quiet-running applications.
- Load ratings: dynamic and static values stated per bearing number in our technical tables.
If your drawing specifies a non-standard tolerance or a matched set, we confirm feasibility from our factory's capability before proposing a configuration.
Quality Control and Factory Inspection
Our factory applies process-wide quality control rather than relying only on final inspection. Critical parameters such as inner and outer diameter, roundness and flatness are monitored with dedicated measuring equipment during production.
- Standardized inspection of flatness and visual quality before shipment.
- Vibration testing for quiet-running bearing grades.
- Dual quality control from our manufacturing plant and our export company.
- Large-scale deep groove production capacity with an annual output of 13-15 million sets.
Customization and OEM/ODM Configuration
We develop non-standard stainless steel ball bearings from customer drawings, samples or a described operating point. Typical structural and dimensional adjustments include extended inner rings, grooved outer rings and special tolerance requirements. Material selection can also move beyond stainless, with beryllium copper, brass and engineering plastics available for special designs.
- OEM/ODM production with part-number marking to your specification.
- Flexible batch sizes from prototype quantities to large-volume series.
- Export packaging with anti-rust treatment where required.
- Our own factory supplies 40 proven mainstream models with stable availability, while selected partner manufacturers extend the range to more than 230 models for non-standard, special-material and high-precision bearings.
Information We Use to Configure Your Solution
Send the bearing type and series, model number if known, and estimated quantity. For non-standard work, we also use the following operating data to prepare a configuration and proposal:
- Bore, outer diameter and width, or a reference drawing or sample.
- Load type (radial, axial or combined) and operating speed.
- Working temperature range and required lubrication.
- Environmental exposure: moisture, chemicals, washdown frequency.
- Tolerance class and desired running noise level.
- Annual quantity and target delivery schedule.
- Special requirements: marking, packaging, documentation and inspection reports.
Frequently Asked Questions
Which stainless steel grade is best for washdown environments?
For frequent washdown and food processing, we typically recommend AISI 420 stainless with a 2RS contact seal, with 304 or 316 selected when chemical exposure or high salinity is severe. Final selection depends on load, speed and the cleaning agents used on the line.
Can you produce stainless versions of standard 6000 and 6200 series bearings?
Yes. Our stainless steel deep groove program includes SS 6000, SS 6200, SS 6300, SS 6700, SS 6800 and SS 6900 series in open, ZZ and 2RS versions, with dimensions and load ratings aligned to metric standard sizes.
Do you supply non-standard bearing sizes?
We do. Our factory handles structural and dimensional adjustments such as extended inner rings, grooved outer rings, special bore sizes and tolerance classes. Custom parts can be developed from your drawing or sample.
What sealing and lubrication options are available?
We supply open, ZZ shielded and 2RS sealed bearings. Grease type and fill amount are adjusted to operating temperature, speed and mounting orientation. Low-noise and low-friction variants can be configured for medical, food or instrument applications.
How do you maintain quality on large volume orders?
Our factory monitors inner and outer diameters, roundness and flatness during production and performs standardized visual and flatness inspection before shipment. With an annual deep groove output of 13-15 million sets, we can hold consistent quality across large deliveries.
What details do you need to provide a quotation?
Provide the bearing type, series or model number, sealing option, material if different from standard, estimated quantity and delivery target. For custom designs, add operating loads, speed, temperature, environmental exposure and a drawing or sample.
